Quantum Plastics President Ron Embree recently bid on, and won, this truck with every dollar of his $150,000 contribution going to the Call of Duty Endowment.
Ron Embree, President & CEO of Quantum Plastics, recently purchased a one‑of‑a‑kind military utility Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 Anduril Edition at auction. The truck is a special vehicle built by RealTruck in partnership with Anduril and the Call of Duty Endowment. Every dollar of Ron’s $150,000 contribution directly supports U.S. veterans transitioning into meaningful civilian careers.
According to Dan Goldenberg, President of the Call of Duty Endowment, “Every dollar of the $150,000 contribution went toward the Call of Duty Endowment’s mission of helping veterans find high-quality civilian jobs. Since our founding, we’ve helped place more than 169,000 veterans into employment, and support like this is what makes that work possible.”
This initiative is part of a national effort celebrating America’s 250th birthday, with RealTruck and Anduril committing to place another 250 veterans into high-quality roles. The custom-built truck Ron purchased was created specifically for this mission: a rugged, military-inspired build designed to honor service members and support their future.

The interior of a military armored vehicle cabin has numerous items protected by rugged plastic housing created through injection molding, including the dashboard, gear selector lever, tactical display screen, and control panels.
For military vehicles similar to Ron’s customized Silverado, Quantum Plastics’ injection molding capabilities can produce a variety of housings, including protective enclosures for onboard radios, GPS units, and tactical computers.
Plastic injection molding is critical to the manufacturing of strong yet lightweight parts for firearms, including upper receivers, lower receivers and magazines.
As for firearms, plastic injection molding is used to create strong, lightweight parts for handguns and rifles, including rifle stocks, buttstocks, grips and handguards.
