Industrial/Consumer

The Raleigh Division provides plastic injection, over molding and insert molding solutions engineered to optimize manufacturing processes for the industrial and consumer industries, including the lawn and garden market.

The Division offers a full suite of secondary operations including:
• Assembly – both at the press and offline
• Hot-stamping
• Sonic welding
• Kitting
• Packaging
• Fulfillment
• Contract manufacturing

Molded parts go through a three-level approval process before production. Three separate individuals must review the part and agree it meets established quality standards. Once in production, the parts are regularly examined by inspector/packers, and also spot-checked by quality technicians, both at the press and on the pallet.

For some high-volume products, Raleigh stocks inventory in-house to ensure shipments arrive at the customer dock on schedule. We have even provided two-day turns from receipt of order to shipment. Even when we can’t provide such a short turnaround, we constantly look at our production schedule to make sure we don’t miss opportunities.

At Raleigh we mold thermoplastic resins, filled and unfilled engineering resins. Resins include (but are not limited to) Acetal, ABS, Acrylic, PBT, PET, Polypropylene (filled and unfilled), HDPE, LDPE, Polystyrene, Cellulose Acetate, HIPS, Nylon (filled and unfilled), PVC and Polycarbonate.

See below for examples of our vast product expertise with customers who service the industrial and consumer markets:

Filtration Products

Raleigh has established itself as a trusted supplier of molded products to the air filtration industry. Our business consists of custom-molded parts manufactured with customer-owned tools as well as a comprehensive line of proprietary air filter products. In many cases, our customers use both. Much of our product, both custom and proprietary, is repeat business and we ship from stock. We stock headered and non-headered panels, pleat separators, and V-cell components for our customers in the filtration industry.

Thermoplastic products, unlike metal assemblies, can be safely incinerated, saving our customers the problems of hazardous waste disposal. Raleigh offers both non-headed and headed panels in a variety of sizes. The panels are self-locking and can be assembled by hand. We also offer panels that can accept a support rod (The Q Series).

Non-Header Panels

Non-header panels are self-locking panels that can be combined to form a box containing your filters. The various lengths will lock together, so you can build an enclosure for most popular filter sizes. Special sizes can be fabricated to meet demands for non-standard sizes.

Header Panels

Header panels are similar to non-header panels, except they provide a flange that allows for attachment of the filter frame. Header panels are self-locking panels that can be combined to form a box containing your filters. The various lengths will lock together, so you can build an enclosure for most popular filter sizes. Special sizes can be fabricated to meet demands for non-standard sizes.

V-Cell Filtration Products

Raleigh offers a proprietary line of V-Cell frames that reduce assembly time. Our V-Cells are composed of just four panels: one header, one cover, and two end panels. The end panels can be snapped into the header by hand and are free-standing once installed. This allows for quick installation of the required number of filters before the cover is snapped on top, closing the V-cell. Our V-Cells are offered in 12”, 20”, and 24” lengths. This allows the V-cell to be assembled in less than 60 seconds!
