03 Apr Quantum Acquires Raleigh Precision Products
Elgin, Illinois – April 3, 2018 –Quantum Plastics has acquired the assets of Raleigh Precision Products, Inc. (“QP-Raleigh”) based in Kenly, North Carolina. This acquisition provides a location in the Southeast and adds several new product lines and customers. QP-Raleigh is a leader in developing and selling commercial HVAC frames for filter pleat separators. These filter frames hold pleated filters that are used in large commercial buildings, hospitals, etc. QP-Raleigh sells the frame in dozens of versions to large filtration companies like Camfil Farr and Air Flow Products.
Raleigh has twenty-nine (29) injection molding machines ranging in size from 40 to 850 tons with secondary operations of hot stamping, sonic welding and assembly.
